The Hurling Experience is County Kildare & Ireland’s newest tourist attraction and is based in the town of Kilcullen just off the M9 motorway (Exit 2), less than 40 minutes' drive from Dublin.
In a three hours "Hands on" experience, visitors will be immersed in the history and culture of the world's oldest field sport. You’ll learn how different hurling is from any other sport and why it was recently recognised as a "unique and intangible cultural experience" by UNESCO.
Through extensive audio visual content and on-field skills coaching and practice, visitors will learn why this amazing sport captures the attention of people the world over.
