Foster and allenFoster and Allen are household names all over the world. They have toured Ireland, the UK, Europe, the US, Canada, South African, Australia and New Zealand. Their style and easy listening sound remains as fresh and appealing as ever.

Mick Foster and Tony Allen's careers have spanned more than two decades, with album sales in excess of 8.2 million. Formed in 1975, the most famous singing duo in Irish music history began working on the local music circuits of Ireland and England, and with their own special brand of music became hugely popular.

Foster & Allen recorded their first single, The Rambles of Spring, which was a massive hit in the UK and US, in that same year. In 1978, Foster & Allen's second record, Bunch of Thyme, was released, topping the Irish charts and spawning a Top of the Pops appearance a few years later on the wake of its success.

In 1983, the song Maggie launched Foster & Allen into international stardom, topping the charts in Ireland, England, Australia and New Zealand, and has remained a staple popular song ever since.

Surprisingly, South Africa and Canada took well to the sounds of the pair, and the hits I Will Love You All My Life and After All These Years took off in both countries, the latter of which broke Foster & Allen into the US for good. Foster & Allen have released over twenty-three albums and eleven videos.

The band consists of Mick Foster, Tony Allen, Moyra Fraser on keyboards, Ollie Kennedy on bass and Bryan O'Donnell on guitar.

Sit back and enjoy Foster & Allen's magical brand of Irish easy listening at the Riverbank Arts Centre Newbridge
