Famed for the passionate intensity of her singing, Camille O Sullivan’s interpretative power of song is a force to be reckoned with. Having recently guested with Jack L in the Olympia, Camille celebrates here the 20th Century’s most dramatic songwriters. With a love for storytelling, she performs in French, English and German her repertoire mixing old with contemporary. Included are Marlene Dietrich’s most memorable songs, as well as a selection by Kurt Weill, Jacques Brel, Nick Cave and Tom Waits. Represented too are the Parisian Revues of the 50’s and 60’s made memorable by Edith Piaf and comedy writer Tom Lehrer.

Songs range from provocative and desolate to humorous. Supported by musicians on piano, accordion and guitar, experience this dramatic musical and thrilling performance in an atmosphere evocative of a past decadent era. Her performance is a night to remember!

An enrapturing performance and a voice that could melt mountains’. The Irish Times

A tour de force reading of song…she sings as though her past, present and future rely on total immersion in the songHot Press
