Battle of the Bands

Yes Folks, it’s back again by popular demand, Kildare’s very own Battle of the Bands. A chance,for young musicians from all over the county, to compete against each other for the brilliant prize of a day in a recording studio. If you haven’t seen the posters – open your eyes, they are everywhere!!!!

Heats will be on at the end of August and the final is on Friday 5th Sept in the Riverbank. Last year’s winners from Athy, Litmus, have made their CD and will perform on the night of the final, while the judges are picking the winning band. We thank the Lions Club for sponsoring last year and we hope to find new sponsors for this year’s event
