This newsletter has a special feature on the Bealtaíne Arts Festival, Newbridge which Kildare County Council's Arts Office has had a long valued association with. In Celtic Mythology Bealtaíne Festival's warmly welcomed the coming of the summers warmth and return to outdoor gatherings and celebrations.
This years festival once again promises a joyful start to the summer season in Kildare. Kildare County Council is very proud of its associations with Bealtaíne and with the upcoming Leixlip Salmon Festival, Kildare Derby Festival, Gerard Manly Hopkins International Summer School and the host of other arts-related festivals which fill the Summer calendar, with creativity and fun.
