Welcome to Artyfacts
Welcome to the spring edition of Artyfacts. What better way to begin the spring programme than with Féile Bríde - a festival which heralds the Celtic feast of Imbolg and celebrates the feast-day of our patroness - St. Brigid. Also listed in this edition are a series of other special events which celebrate the various art-forms in the lead-up to the Millenium. This project entitled "Countdown 2000" includes a Focus on Dance Week-end (February) and a Focus on Drama Week-end (April). Other events currently being planned for later in '99 include the biggest public band recital ever in County Kildare which takes place on The Curragh. These events and other will welcome in the next century with a loud Kildare bang!
