The festival featured two concerts, showcasing the work of Kildare County Council’s Music Outreach Programme in primary schools over the last year. The festival programme was diverse, ranging from African drumming from Scoil Phádraig Naofa, Athy and chamber groups from Clocha Rince, Moyvalley to choral performances by Broadford. Four hundred and fifty children from thirteen
schools participated in the festival. Photographs documenting the event can be viewed at www.kildare.ie/arts

Schools who are interested in participating in the Music Outreach programme commencing January 2003 should register interest with the Arts Service.
