ArtyFacts Autumn/Winter 2001
Welcome to Artyfacts.
After an action packed summer of festivals and arts activities across County Kildare, the pace continues with a wide-ranging programme of events for the autumn/ winter season. Riverbank Kildare County Councils Cultural Campus officially opens its doors with a variety of Theatre, Music, Visual Arts, Literature and Dance events. Meanwhile, The Library and Arts Service are offering an extensive range of arts activities and training opportunities for adults and children.
This issue also marks the retirement of Mary Linehan, Arts Officer since 1995. Mary has resigned from the Council to take up a position in Scoil Mhuire, Ballymany. We wish her every happiness in her new career and know how much her energy, enthusiasm and artistic vision inspired Kildares Arts community. Mary remains very much committed to the arts and now hopes to develop her acting and directing talents.
