Arts in education Conference
Kildare County Council Arts Service in partnership with the Arts Council, Riverbank Arts Centre, and the Kildare Education Centre will host an Arts in Education conference on October 10th – 11th 2003. The theme of the conference is partnership and will examine the role of local authority, arts organisations and artists as supports for the delivery of arts education in schools.
To coincide with the conference, the Kildare County Arts Service will produce a publication with essays on aspects of arts in education. This publication will include a directory of arts educators in all art disciplines, which will act as a resource for teachers.
