Making dances and preforming them is at the heart of this two-hour workshop. This season the event includes a Book-Search, a new twist to the process of inquiring around themes of interest to children, designed to spark the imagination and help children to discover that books normally sitting on shelves , have a life that can be translated into dance. Dance Artists and the library staff lead the children in a new way to bring books to life through dance, and who knows in the process develop the choreographers and performers of the future.
