Hayes family of Kildare town

My grandfather  Richard Hayes moved to Kildare town  some time in the late 1800 he came from Waterford. He was asked to come to Kildare by  the people who were building the Japanese gardens for his skills with woodworking .

He married Mary Dowling of Kildare town and raised his family in Fairgreen. He had a woodworking shop in town. For many years after his death my uncle John (Jack) Hayes took over the shop till his death.

My Father Thomas Hayes & my uncle James Hayes came to America in the late 1920s early 30s my uncle Richard went to England  some time around 1938. my aunt Elizabeth married Greg Kelly and lived her life in Fair Green.

If any one has any information on my family I would appreciate knowing about them.

Sincerely,

Richard J. Hayes
