Kildare County Council Launches New Contact Portal
Kildare County Council has today announced the launch of a new Customer Services Contact Portal which will allow people to contact the council, report an issue or request information quicker and easier than ever. Accessible via the Kildare County Council website, and supported by a Customer Relationship Management System, the Contact Portal is part of an ongoing suite of digital developments from Kildare County Council to enable the most efficient delivery of council services and engagement with the citizens of Kildare.
Where to find the Portal
The new Contact Portal can be accessed by clicking the ‘Contact Us’ button anywhere you see it on the Kildare County Council website. This will bring you to the Contact Us page where you will find the link to the Contact Portal -https://kildaremembers.powerappsportals.com/report-it-frm/
How to use the Portal
When the portal opens you have the option to allow or block your current location being used. Allowing your location to be found will allow you to pinpoint a specific location on our map when reporting an issue. There are multiple ways to add the location of where an issue exists.
- You can add the location into the Details and/or Exact Location Field (Won’t pin on map)
- Type in an Eircode and select the location from the list (Will pin on map)
- Type part of a location and select it from the list (Will pin on map)
- Drag the Map Pin around until you find correct spot
How we manage your enquiry
Once a query is submitted via the portal, a case reference number will be generated. This case number will then be used to identify and manage the enquiry. Enquiries received via the portal will be assessed in a Customer Relationship Management System and designated to the relevant department. Individuals will receive an email stating the name of the Department dealing with the enquiry.
Other digital initiatives
The Contact Portal is the latest in a suite of recent digital developments by Kildare County Council which include an online appointments system and a consultation portal as well as a new app and portal for rent and rates customers. A number of other digital initiatives are also being developed in the areas of planning and customer service to continue to enable the most efficient delivery of council services and engagement with the citizens of Kildare.
