Proposed Speed Limit Reduction Order
in Accordance with Section 10 of the Roads Traffic Act, 2004
Kildare County Council, on behalf of Glas Civil Engineering Ltd., gives notice in accordance with Section 10 of the Roads Traffic Act, 2004 that it proposes to reduce the speed limit from 100 kilometres per hour (km/h) to 60 kilometres per hour on a section (as detailed below) of the R448 Moone to Timolin to facilitate the construction of the National Cycle Network (NCN) R448 Moone Timolin Project.

No diversionary routes are required and the reduced speed limit of 60 km/h will be clearly signposted as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
