County Kildare Fáilte is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. One of the oldest County tourism organisations, we have been in existence since 1991 with the aims of promoting County Kildare as a tourism destination to the home and overseas markets and to encourage and assist the improvement of the tourism product in County Kildare to internationally acceptable standards.

While completely separate from them, we work closely with the National tourism agencies, Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland.

We acknowledge the valuable support of Kildare County Council which enables us to carry out much of our programme of work, and that of our members, who, by contributing to our funds, express their commitment to the development of the tourism industry in County Kildare. We are also grateful for assistance for specific projects given to us by the County Kildare LEADER Partnership.

We are based in Naas, the county town, and have one full-time and one part-time employee. Our board of directors is made up of voluntary representatives of the various strands of the tourism industry, public representatives and representatives from our Regional Tourism Authority and from Kildare County Council.
