It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in Athy - as the local Athy Town Promoters Group launched their annual Athy Christmas Streets & Treats Festival. 

This year's highlights include -

  • The Big Switch Event - Sunday 4th December. 
  • Santa boat tours on River Barrow.
  • Santa's Magical Trail- Clanard Court Hotel.
  • Theme events from local groups throughout December at Athy Library.
  • Shop Local Promotions town-wide.
  • Designated 'Free Parking' at specific locations.
