Sharon Shannon, the renowned button accordion player from County Clare, and her band, returns to the Clanard Court on Saturday 29th December.
Sharon is a widely respected and deeply talented Irish musician, and she became known for broadening the horizons of traditional music in the 1980s and 1990s.
Sharon is thoroughly versed in Irish music and has not been afraid to mix her playing on accordion and fiddle with all manner of different styles from reggae to country.
In 2017 on the album 'Sacred Earth', Sharon produced a varied collection that saw her experiment with African, reggae, and even rap.
