"HOLLYWOOD HAS ARRIVED AT NEWBRIDGE SILVERWARE"
Since its official opening to the public on June 1st, the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons has welcomed thousands of visitors countrywide to its spectacular showcase.
Located onsite at the Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre, the Museum of Style Icons is a permanent exhibition dedicated to design and style excellence.
The Museum features signature pieces from Irelands most notable designers and showcases artefacts associated with some of the most legendary Stars of the Silver screen including Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis, Gloria Swanson, Barbara Streisand, Julie Andrews, Vivien Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor, Gloria Swanson, Jean Simmons, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jimmy Stewart, Ingrid Bergman and Barbara Stanwyck.
The Company have added even more spectacular pieces to its exhibition and are delighted to be showcasing the hot pink cocktail dress worn by Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in "Breakfast at Tiffanys" 1961. Mr. William Doyle CEO, Newbridge Silverware succeeded in securing the dress in bidding war for $160k. The knee length dress of hot pink silk, decorated all over with appliqués accented with small rhinestones with a matching pink bow was made for Hepburn as Holly Gollightly in the 1961 film "Breakfast at Tiffanys" accompanied by a black and white still. This garment will now sit alongside the two piece ensemble as worn by Audrey Hepburn for the move "Charade".
Other key iconic pieces added to the range include a Vintage Giorgio Armani Suite worn by Susan Sarandon in the movie "Elizabethtown", a two-piece costume of orange wool worn by Barbara Streisand in "Funnygirl", a full-length sleeveless gown worn by Julie Andrews in "Star", a knee-length sleeveless dress with African print design, with a pair of cream patent Christian Louboutin shoes worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in "Failure to Launch" and many more.

To complete your visitor experience, the Gold Medal award winning Silver Restaurant is located onsite at the Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre.
With some of Ireland`s best trained and creative chefs, the most incredibly innovative interiors and the Newbridge Silverware showrooms attached, the Silver Restaurant offers Ireland's most unique wining and dining experience.
- The Restaurant is open during Newbridge Silverware shopping hours for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, specialising in creative and stylish dishes using natural, fresh and organic ingredients.
