The Club hold monthly meetings for the Carers Group of approx 25 carers in Clane. Each Soroptimist gives a talk on her expertise or career followed by their meeting and a cup of tea. We also arrange for the EHB to give them talks on their rights and help them with their problems as far as possible. The Club hold each year a Summer Party for the Carers in member Josephine O'Connell's house, with a Christmas outing to a Show and a respite break in Feb. The Club fundraises to support the Carers.

The next outing is to a party at the Club President's house, Mary Carroll on the 11th Jan. 2003.
