Every week the pupils from First to Fourth Class receive tuition in playing the violin. Sonya Cadigan, their tutor, comes to St. Evin's School every Monday to teach the children. Pupils in first, second, third and fourth classes took part in a lovely violin recital in the school in May. Each class took their turn on stage to play tunes on their instruments.
The instruments have been provided to the school through Kildare County Council Arts Initiative.
The Parents' Council fundraise on an annual basis to cover the costs of tuition fees.
