Classes, 3rd - 6th, have enjoyed learning the skills of Tag-Rugby over the last few weeks. Alex, the coach from Portarlington Rugby Club, has been coming to St. Evin's school regularly to teach the pupils how to play this version of rugby that is growing increasingly popular in Ireland. Our senior classes participated in an inter-schools challenge in May 2014.
Recently, Alex and his colleague from the Leinster Branch brought all the Leinster Silverware to our school to show us how successful the Leinster teams are at present. We were surprised at how large and heavy these lovely trophies are.
