St. Evin's School supported the St. Vincent De Paul Christmas Food Appeal. Parents and children were invited to make food donations for local families. Boxes were provided in the school entrance hall. Thanks to a very generous response from pupils and parents a huge amount of food was collected in the school. Donated items included, rice, pasta, cereals, soups, peas, beans, biscuits, sweets, tea, coffee and toiletries. Three members of the St. Vincent De Paul Society in Monasterevin came to the school to accept the food. They were delighted with all the contributions and assured us that all the food will be much appreciated by families in the local community.
