As part of their Confirmation preparation the sixth class pupils committed to a fundraising project to promote awareness and support for a worthy cause. The girls in sixth class decided that they would arrange and host some school events to fundraise for "The Nepal Earthquake Appeal" .

On May 22nd they organised a Bake Sale, along with a range of stall activities such as nail-painting, jumble sale, guess-the number-of sweets-in-the-jar, Mucky-Ducks, dressing-up and guess-the-wolf's-name. The whole school participated in the fun, and generously purchased cakes and other treats. While the sixth class pupils did all the hard work, many families put in a huge effort to bake the cakes and deliver them freshly to the school. The event was a huge success thanks to everybody who got involved.

In total, 1,408 was raised in one day for this very worthy charity.
