    Educational Philosophy
The Presentation School is a Christian Community comprising pupils, parents, teachers and management. Together we claim to share a vision of life...a faith in God as a living Parent, a kinship in Jesus Christ and a unity in the power of spirit. Inspired by the vision of our foundress, Nano Nagle, the school has become a centre of formation enabling each individual:

    Management

A Board of Management was established an 1986 comprising of two parents, two teachers and four trustee nominees.  The trustees are the Presentation Sisters.

    Parental Contact

For the school to succeed in its aims a partnership of trust must exist between parents and staff.  Parent-Teacher meetings are held at regular intervals throughout the academic year.  At these meetings subject teachers will report on your daughter’s progress.  Should parents wish to meet a specific member of staff, a prior appointment is obviously desirable.

All students sit formal school examinations during the year and parents will receive a report twice a year.

    Parent Association

A parent association was established in 1977 and now has become an integral part of life of the school.  The annual General Meeting is held at the beginning of every year.  The affairs of the Association are managed by the Parent Council.  Parents of pupils in the respective school year groups are represented on the council.
