and Micheal with OutKast at Creamfields. A dance festival attended by over 30,000 people,
the Order of Malta provided first aid and ambulance cover from 11am Saturday 'til 5am
Sunday. "It may be fun but it will never replace music" |

Bargie,Nicola
and Micheal wearing the latest clubbing gear, apparently it's all the rage in Ibiza and
Ayia Napa this year. This photo was taken at 2am in the first aid room, the smiles are
because the music had just stopped for the first time in fourteen hours |

First
aid post in the main arena. The 4WD ambulances proved invaluable in getting access to the
various arenas, which were spread over a large area. A casualty was treated here
with an injury straight out of "Something About Mary" |

A major incident exercise was held in Athy which tested the abilities of
the Ambulance Corps members from the point of view of first aid and teamwork. The event
was organised in conjunction with the local Civil Defence and was a great success. |

|
Ambulance
Corps personnel prepare a casualty for transport. The casualty is fully immobilised to
minimize the risk of damage to the spine. |
 |
One of the
vehicles involved in the incident. As can be seen from this photo a great deal of effort
went into the preparation of the event and the participants were presented with a
very realistic challenge. |
 |
After Civil
Defence personnel had stabilised the vehicle, the first aiders could begin dealing with
the two injured people trapped in the upturned vehicle. |
 |
Having had a
briefing by the Fire Officer on site, the Ambulance Corps prepare to get the show on
the road. |
