DSC00167Naas Sub-Aqua Club are taking on new members from October 2014.

No experience necessary as we train you in all the skills necessary to dive safely and gain world recoqnised CMAS diving qualifications. If you have some dive qualifications and would like to dive you are also welcome to join the club.

Free Try-a-Dives on scuba equipment in the swimming pool and full training begins in October.

Dublin South Rescue Test

  The Dublin South Regional Rescue Diver Test took place in Dun Laoghaire harbour on  May 24, 2014. Naas Sub-Aqua Club had four out of the eleven participating candidates. Congratulations to Alice O’Sullivan, Charlotte Mellon, Jonas Micevicius and Jonathan Dooley who successfully passed the test in very difficult conditions due to very limited visibility. New Cox’n for Naas SAC

Congratulations and well done to Dave Berney who successfully passed his CMAS Diver Cox’n test in Dun Laoghaire yesterday evening, the 14th of May 2014. It is a busy year for Dave who is also completing his Leading Diver this year. Many thanks to Ger Lanigan (Mon** Sealbay SAC) and Dave Moore (Mon* Curragh SAC) for conducting the test. Congratulations also to Dave Moore who now has completed all of the required juries and qualifies as a CMAS Mon**.

Two More Club Divers for Naas SAC

  Congratulations to Robbie Carroll and Alice O’Sullivan, Naas Sub-Aqua Clubs latest two CMAS Club Divers who passed their D** test in Hook Head over the weekend in all but favorable weather conditions. Many thanks to Ray Furlong and Noel Furlong for examining, retrieving our boat out of the harbour with the tractor and the usual Hook SAC hospitality that we have become accustom to, it is very much appreciated as always.
