An innovative work placement programme
Kickstart Kildare, an innovative work placement programme, focuses on linking job-seekers and local companies on short term placements.
Participants undertake to carryout specific work while getting industry relevant training in sectors that have employment potential.
Jobseekers:
Kickstart Kildare programme offers project based part time work placement supported by skills based training and mentoring.
Training:
Pre placement training course – 5 weeks – 1 morning per week in Naas
- Communications
- Presentation skills
- Information Technology Skills
- Social Media
- Customer Services
In addition each individual on placement will receive customised training to suit their work based needs.
Employer:
Kickstart Kildare gives the Employer a supported project plan with a specifically trained individual for a term of 6 to 8 weeks. The benefits to the Employer include:
