Bad Lippspringe has been a spa for more than 150 years already. It is state registered since 1975 and offers several mineral- and drinking-water-springs. The climatic health resort Bad Lippspringe is located at the edge of the 'Teutoburger Forest', a small range of mountains in the middle of Germany and also near by the 'Egge Mountains'. This location justifies the term 'The spa in nature's heart! The nearest city, Paderborn, may be found at a distance of only 10km. It has got 150 000 inhabitants and many shopping facilities.

Which other German spa might call three parks its own? In addition to these Bad Lippspringe got an eight hundred acres large forest including 25km wandering path. A location in the mid of nature is one of the prior conditions for a successful cure: The guest can find release from stress in this quiet and peaceful spa and city.

The position of the Teutoburger Forest and the Egge-Mountains, describing a kind of screen, the healthy ground of the 'Senne' with its sandy soil and the large forest of our spa supply the cure factor number one to all our guests: The mild climate! Bad Lippspringe holds 15 000 residents. Exactly the right size for a spa like ours.

You can easily reach any shops, cafés, restaurants and the wonderful parks. You don't need a car at all. The advantages of this spa were discovered by a flock of sheeps. When ever they had caught a cold after shearing they just had to drink from a mineral spring near by the Lippe-Spring and they recovered again. From then this spring has been called the 'Arminius-Spring'. After its discovery the village of the former Bad Lippspringe changes rapidly.
