Our AGM takes place this year on Friday the 3rd of December,at 7-30. The meeting takes place in our club house and we urge all players,mentors,current members past and present to please attend.We especially encourage new members to come along as you will be made most welcome to the club.
During the week there are dancing classes in the club house. Monday from 6 o clock to 7 o clock there is Hip-Hop dancing for over 13s, Tuesday from 4 o clock to 8 o clock there is hip-Hop and Theatre craft for anyone over 5 years old. Wednesday there is cheer leading classes from 5-30 to 6-30,for anyone over 8 years . For more information call Lisa on 085-1248200.

The Ladies AGM takes place on Tuesday evening 7-30 pm in the club house. The introduction of ladies football to the club has being a huge success bringing 80 new members to the club this year alone. We look forward to keep this going in the future .So if you feel you have something to give to ladies football ,being a player ,coach or a committee member please come along on Tuesday evening.

Monasterevan Gfc would like to wish Anthony Rainbow the very best of luck in his retirement from inter county football. Anthony donned the Kildare jersey for 20 years .In that era he has always given his very best in every game he played for the lily whites. His retirement was marked with an exhibition match in St Conleths Pk on Saturday last,when a host of Gaelic football legends lined out .When Kildare played the rest of Ireland in what was a truly enjoyable day for all in attendance. It was also a great honour for our own Michael (gippo) Hyland to be asked to be a selector for the rest of Ireland team along with Mick O Dwyer and Sos Dowling.
On Saturday the 20th of November.Anthony Rainbow's farewell game takes place in St.Conleths park Newbridge.Where Kildare will take on the rest of Ireland.All proceeds go to Kildare gaa players fund,St.John of god,Celbridge,and St Bridgets hospice, the Curragh.Tickets are €20 each and can be purchased from any committee member or ring 087-6992735.Anthony has represented Kildare for 20 years an incredible feat for any player and one that's unlikely to ever happen again.So come along and celebrate one of Kildare's greatest players as he lines out for the Lilies one more time. Our under 21s went out of the championship on Saturday afternoon to a much better Raheens team. The lads battled gamely and should be proud of there efforts.With a couple of crucial injuries going into the game the lads were always going to find it tough and were well in contention with 10 Min's to go.All these lads can now take a deserved break for the winter and come back in the new year determined to take there place on our first team. The final score was Monasterevan 2-06 Raheens 2-10.
