KRF Presents Kildare Reads: Declan O'Rourke with Flor MacCarthy
Singer, songwriter and author Declan O'Rourke will be in Newbridge library to talk about his books 'The Pawn Broker's Reward' and 'Whisper of Oblivion'. The first two books of his trilogy are set in the Famine.
He will be joined and interviewed by Flor MacCarthy. Flor is a renowned broadcaster with a passion for history and the arts. Her first book 'The Presidents' Letters' is a homage to the art of letter writing.
Declan's books are set in Cork and Flor is from Cork so we feel these two authors will have a lot to talk about.
