Captain's Hill Planters

We have recently started to place new half-barrel planters at various points on the Captain's Hill. The first group were placed on the lower end of the hill.

We have recently started to place new half-barrel planters at various points on the Captain's Hill. The first group were placed on the lower end of the hill. We will put more in the alcove half way up the hill. Some of the local businesses have promised that they will keep the plants watered throughout the summer.

Youth Centre Flowerbed

We have recently constructed a new shrub bed outside the Youth Centre beside the library in Confey youth_centre_03.jpg

We have recently constructed a new shrub bed outside the Youth Centre beside the library in Confey. Bark mulch will be put around the plants this week so as to cut down on maintenance.

Confey Cemetery Project

The original plan to plant trees inside the wall has been amended. Instead of trees we have planted shrubs. We have also placed some planters around the bench.

LTTA have recently replaced the half-barrel planters at Gallivans cross ......

LTTA have recently replaced the half-barrel planters at Galilvan's Cross. The old ones were there for quite some time and had almost completely rotted away.

Coolmine Recycling Centre

Coolmine Recycling Centre is located in Coolmine Industrial Estate, Dublin 15. The recycling centre is provided by Fingal Council. Members of the public can bring along a wide range of of items for recycling or disposal

The recycling centre is strictly for household use. No commercial waste can be taken to this site.

All the above items & services are paid for with Fingal Council bin tags which are sold in €8 units.

You can buy tags in local shops and garages in the following areas:

Portmarnock/Malahide/Howth (includes Cloghran & Kinsealy), Castleknock/Mulhuddart (includes Blanchardstown, Clonsilla, etc) and Swords/Balbriggan (includes Santry, Rush, Lusk, Portrane, Donabate, Skerries and rural villages).

You can also buy tags by credit card by calling Ph. 8905009. These tags will be issued by post within 2 days.

Louisa Bridge - Canal Walk Entrance

We have just completed the planting of the entrance to the Canal Walk at Louisa Bridge

The planting of the entrance to the Canal Walk at Louisa Bridge is now completed. We plan to do further planting in this area in the future

Station Road - Ryevale Wall Shrub Bed

We have removed all the overgrown vegetation from this area. The overhanging "evergreens"  have now been cut back, and and we have completed the planting

Now all we have to do is wait for them to grow 

 


 Week one:

We have removed all the overgrown vegetation from this area. Some of the planting has been completed. The planting mainly consists of "Red Robin's" and Fire Thorn (Pyracanthas), with other smaller shrubs on the front of the border.
