Councillors to support council in waste appeal

MAYNOOTH, 11 October 2002: Two Labour councillors are to make representations to An Bord Pleanala on an appeal by Westside Waste to the rejection of their planning application for a waste processing centre at Blacklion, Maynooth.

Deputy Emmet Stagg and Cllr John McGinley say they are ‘disappointed’ at the Westside move, and will make their observations in support of the council’s decision before October 29.

Westside appealed the decision on October 2.
