Tony Smith Memorial Walk

07 October 2003: The proceeds of the Tony Smith Memorial Walk, amounting to €8,062 were handed over to Maynooth Senior Citizens Committee at a recent function in Maynooth GAA Club.

The sum collected was a record figure and Maynooth Labour Branch would like to thank all those who sponsored the participants in the walk.

The walk was first held in 1980 and the Branch is pleased that it is still going strong.
