Cultural evening in Riverbank

15 January 2004: An evening of music and poetry on Saturday 31st January will feature Noel O’Grady, Seamus Hosey and Anne O’Neill.

The collection of love songs sung by Noel O’Grady has been described by Brendaan Kennelly as 'at once a tribute to Patrick Kavanagh’s visionary genius and an invitation to all people to listen to the words and music of love at their most enchantingly beautiful'.

As well as showcasing his album, Noel will perform a special tribute to Poet Patrick Kavanagh, whose works on the many faces of love inspired him to undertake his album, 'The Enchanted Way'.

Among those joining him will be RTE producer Seamus Hosey and actress Anne O’Neill. Seamus Hosey will perform poems on the theme of love, life and laughter, by a variety of poets including Seamus Heaney, Austin Clarke, and Patrick Kavanagh.

Musical guests and a flavour of the festive season will complete what promises to be a delightful evening.
