Camille sings dramatic

14 April 2003: The songs of Marlene Dietrich, Jacque Brel, Edith Piaf, and Nick Cave will form the basis for an eveing’s preformance by Camille O’Sullivan , at the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge on Friday 25 April.

Camille recently guested with Jack L in the Olympia, and celebrates the 20th century’s most dramatic songwriters. She performs in French, English and German her repertoire mixing old with contemporary. Included are Marlene Dietrich’s most memorable songs, as well as a selection by Kurt Weill, Jacques Brel, Nick Cave and Tom Waits.

Represented too are the Parisian Revues of the 50’s and 60’s made memorable by Edith Piaf and comedy writer Tom Lehrer.
