No Name Club parties with old folk

NAAS 30 January 2003: Young hosts and hostesses from Naas No Name Club served up a special treat to the older folks of the town on Sunday last. The venue for the after Christmas party was, as usual, the canteen of Kildare County Council HQ in St Mary’s, Naas.

Such was the demand for places at this popular function that over 90 turned up for the afternoon’s festivities which included a sit down meal and entertainment.

The Adult Committee of the Naas No Name Club were also there to lend a hand with the catering and setting of places as well as the cleaning up afterwards.

Hosts and hostesses helping out (above) on Sunday included Heidi Monahan, Sarah Butler, Eilise Dunne, Martin Whitty, John Carr and Stephen Gaynor.

Anne O’Donnell, Alice Rafferty and (back) Essie Murray, Joe O’Connor of the Naas Unit of the Order of Malta and Bridie O’Connor.
