'No Name' clubs success in national competition

LEIXLIP & NAAS 11 January 2003: Two County Kildare 'No Name' clubs won category awards at the No Name Club of the Year competitions held in Kilkenny.

The clubs were from Naas and Leixlip, and the competition marked 25 years of the existance of the No Name Club movement.

Leixlip won the 'Development' category, while the award for the best 'Activities' was won by Naas.

The event was held in the Newpark Hotel, where the movement was founded by owner Bobby Kerr.
