A Fine Gael member, Cllr Reilly lives at Ballyhagen, Carbury, Co Kildare. He is a member of the Clane Area Committee, Eastern Health Board, Dublin Transportation Office, Local Authority Committee, Twinning, KELT, Mid-East Regional Authority, and the Protocol and Procedures Committee of Kildare County Council.
Cllr Michael Fitzpatrick was elected as Deputy Mayor of Co Kildare. He is a Fianna Fail member of the council.
