Amenity park work

09 October 2003: Work is well under way on the €67,000 Liffey Amenity Park in Newbridge, which will extend and improve the parkland area running alongside the river.

The work includes making the area more useable for people with disabilities, including the provision of wheelchair ramps and signs for people with visual impairment.

The project has been funded by KELT, Newbridge Town Council, Kildare County Council and a number of businesses in the town.
