Registered rentals 'just a fraction'

NAAS 21 January 2003: Just 120 rented houses in Naas have been registered with the local authority as required by law.

That's just 'a fraction' of the total number of rented houses in the town, Naas town clerk Declan Kirrane says.

But he said that following the provision of information from the local health board on rented accomodation in the town, the council 'will be better able to pursue' those landlords who have not registered.
