Official greeting today for Millennium Park tenants

NAAS, 11 October: by Brian Byrne. A lunchtime event today in Ash House, Millennium Park, marks the official introduction of the first two tenants to purpose-built offices in Phase 1 of the project.

Local councillors and other dignatories have been invited to a buffet lunch to meet the prime movers in the South Western Area Health Board of the Eastern Regional health Authority and of GEA Tuchenhagen, a company which designs processing systems for the pharmaceutical and food and distilling industries which is moving from CityWest after selling its property there for £6.5 million.

The two operations will be in twin buildings at the site. The rental rate for Tuchenhagen, which currently employs 170 but needs to expand, is reported at around £140 a sq m, compared to £170 a sq m for the property it left and some £323 per sq m in Dublin city centre locations.

The first phase of Millennium Park is planned to provide some 14,864 sq m of office space in six premises.
