Still no move on garda station

15 December 2003: There has been no further progress on the long-mooted Garda Station for Leixlip.

The matter was last in discussion three months ago when the OPW ruled that revised sketch designs for the facility 'were not appropriate' to the site.

This followed a request from the Department of Justice to make certain alterations to the original sketch proposal drawn up by the OPW.
