Proposal for speed limit extension

KILCULLEN 24 February 2003: A proposal that a 40mph speed limit be introduced on the New Abbey Road at Kilcullen is before the Naas Area Committee of Kildare County Council.

Cllr Timmy Conway says the limit should apply from the bend before Millstone House, and the 30mph limit should be extended out to Millstone House.

Cllr Conway has also tabled a question about what has been done to implement pay parking in Kilcullen.
