Greenkeeping machinery stolen in Kilcullen

09 April 2003: Thieves have taken around E20,000 worth of greenkeeping machinery in a raid on Kilcullen Pitch & Putt Club.

The equipment included ride-on mowers and push mowers, and they were taken last weekend. They had been bought with the aid of funds given by the National Lottery.

The stolen equipment had the letters 'ST' on them, and the garda have the serial numbers and will be checking weekend markets in case they are put on sale there.
