Interchange opening at end January

CELBRIDGE 10 January 2003: Peak time traffic congestion in Celbridge should be eased from the end of the month when the new Celbridge interchange to the M4 is opened.

Building the 4km of roads associated with the work has resulted in the discovery of many archeological sites and artifacts, including many from both prehistoric and post-medieval periods.

Most of the work was carried out in the historic Castletown Demesne.
