Closing date for waste licence submissions
KILCULLEN, 31 October: by Brian Byrne. The closing date for the receipt of submissions on the Waste Licence Application by Kildare County Council for its Silliot Hill Landfill is 24 November, and anyone wishing to make such a submission should write to Administration, Waste Management Licensing, EPA Headquarters, Wexford.
The reference number to quote is 14-1, and anyone is entitled to make a submission in writing. Applications actually received on Monday 26 will actually be considered valid, as the official closing date is a Saturday.
The EPA may well ask for further information on the application during its considerations, and a further period of submissions may ensue.
