Celebrities for Kildare County Show

05 July 2003: This year's Kildare County Show - to be held in Athy on July 13th - will include guest appearances by singer Mickey Joe Harte, celebrity architect Duncan Stewart, and locally-born photographer John Minahan.

Mickey Joe Harte will officially open the show, Duncan Stewart will be holding environmental workshops and John Minahan will open the photography exhibition.

The theme of this year's show is 'Recycling and Environmental Awarness', which is part funded by KELT. The Environment Section includes Organic Farming, Recycling, Sustanable Living, Alternative Energies, Ecological Housing, and Ecological Waste Water Treatment
