School furniture row 'near resolution'?

16 December 2003: The long-running saga of a Celbridge new school facility without any furniture allocation may be nearing resolution.

The minister for education has indicated that a 'retrospective grant' for the Educate Together school at Ballymakealy is being 'considered' by his department.

A decision 'would issue shortlyy', he told the Dail in answer to a question put by Deputy Emmet Stagg.

Deputy Stagg has been applying pressure over the issue for some time.
