Won Christmas card design competition

21 December 2003: Two young people from Naas were presented with prizes to mark the success of their entries in the Christmas Card Design Competition run by Kildare Youth Services.

The winner of the 14 – 18 age category was Kate Lahart, Naas and the 9 – 13 age category winner was Ronan O’Reilly of St Corban’s Primary School, Naas.

The theme picked by the winning entrants in both age categories was Multicultural Christmas Celebration, reflecting the varied ways in which Christmas is celebrated in Ireland in the 21st century.

The winners were presented with their prizes at a ceremony at the Youth Information Centre at Kildare Youth Services, Basin St. Naas.
