New training simulator

12 October 2003: A new €5 million computer training simulator has been inaugurated at the Defence Forces Training Centre on the Curragh Camp.

The facility allows Irish soldiers to link with army personnel in Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, and Norway for simulated training exercises.

The facility is part of a €65 million spending programme at the Defence Forces Training Centre.
