How will the Strategy be Reviewed & Monitored?

A Sub-Group of KCDB will be established to draw up a set of indicators and proofing guidelines for monitoring purposes. These guidelines will then be used to monitor progress on the Action Plan.

KCDB will monitor overall progress at six-monthly review meetings when the Implementation Groups will report to the Board on progress to date.

The Strategy will be fully reviewed and evaluated after five years to measure success on progress and adapt to significant changes occurring in the county. The Action Plans will be reviewed every three years and a further three-year Action Plan drawn up containing new and follow-up actions to those already implemented.

In reviewing the Strategy, the extent to which we have achieved the goals of the Strategy and adhered to the core principles set out earlier in this document will be measured.

For example a review would ask:

The most important question the review will answer, however, is how has KCDB made a difference - What has happened that would not have happened without this Strategy?
